Press Release: Jaylen Bledsoe & Independent Youth Announcement
Saint Louis, MO – Jaylen D. Bledsoe, the successful 15 year old Entrepreneur, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Leading Information Technology Consultancy Company, Bledsoe Technologies, LLC, will be the first St. Louis Executive to join 14 other National Youth Executives as a part of the Saint Louis based Independent Youth Network. To name a few, Bledsoe joins Independent Youth Veterans, Adele Ann Taylor, CEO of Adele’s Literacy Library ®, Hart Main, CEO of ManCans, & Lily Sandler, Founder of BLAMtastic®.
“There are many reasons that I’m glad to join the Independent Youth Network, but the biggest reason is that it offers a much greater platform that allows me to assist other Youth in becoming entrepreneurs,” said Bledsoe.
As a part of joining the Independent Youth Network, Bledsoe and other Panelists will present at IY TrepStart Days throughout the year, which are hosted around the country. The first city for the TrepStart tour, is Saint Louis, MO which then moves to Charlotte, North Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia. Bledsoe has confirmed that he will speak on start-up funding, including topics such as Venture Capital Fundraising, Crowd-sourcing, equity distribution, and private funding.
Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business and the Youth Entrepreneurship will host Saint Louis’ IY TrepStart day at its Busch Student Center on September 23.

The event will focus on giving high school students various perspectives on entrepreneurship while teaching key entrepreneurial concepts in a hands-on setting. During the Symposium students will hear from our keynote speaker as they share their entrepreneurial journey and road to success. In addition, students will attend break-out sessions that focuses on various facets of entrepreneurship, a networking lunch and a panel discussion. Each break-out session is presented by a nationally-recognized teen entrepreneur (members of IY’s Teen Entrepreneur Network). St. Louis TrepStart Day participants; develop and strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset, increase social and networking skills, and gain an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship.
Bledsoe hopes that his work with Independent Youth, at a minimum will encourage more youth to become involved in entrepreneurship nationally. Following Independent Youth’s mission statement, Bledsoe said, “Entrepreneurship is an essential key to the success and further development of our nation’s economy. This is why I’m glad to join Independent Youth, so that I can present entrepreneurial tools to the next generation, my peers. There’s no time like the present, so let’s develop youth into business leaders of tomorrow, today.”
